2016 Shootout for Soldiers Long Island date set for July 21-22

The date is officially set with a location to follow for the 2nd annual Long Island shootout for soldiers event.

WHAT IS IT?

The Shootout for Soldiers is a 24 hour lacrosse game benefiting wounded American military members. The event is fun. It’s not a tournament, nor is it about recruiting. The event is all about supporting those who serve our country.

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

There are 24, 1-hour games. There are two teams: Stars and Stripes, and registered players will be grouped into either team once they register. The score is cumulative, last year Stars beat Stripes 349-336!

HOW DO THE EVENTS BENEFIT OUR VETERANS?

We partner with four incredible organizations: The Wounded Warrior Project, Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund, Semper Fi Fund, and Gary Sinise Foundation. We help fund their different programs that support veterans in a host of ways.
