We need your help! The Long Island Metro Lacrosse Foundation (LIMLF) is a not-for-profit organization comprised of all volunteer members. We work throughout Long Island and the New York Metro area to improve and promote the sport of Lacrosse
As you can imagine, a lot of our events in the past 18 months have been postponed and/or cancelled and we would be very grateful for any assistance you may extend us in continuing our mission of improving the sport of lacrosse in the region.
We are happy to say we are hosting a Comedy Fundraiser Night on December 9th at Governers Comedy Club, the Brokerage in Bellmore.
Ways you can you help?
- We are looking for donations for our raffle such as baskets or, more importantly, envelope-sized raffle items like gift cards, sporting tickets or other small items.
- We are also looking for cash donations which can be sent via Venmo @limetrolax (see QR Code below) in any amount including $25, $50, $100. Any monetary donation in any amount is greatly appreciated.
What is the money used for?
We help improve, promote, and grow the sport of lacrosse. Some of our accomplishments include but are not limited to monetary and equipment donations to underprivileged youth programs through our Outreach program, provide awards, recognitions, and scholarships to high school boys’ and girls’ players, and sponsor/maintain a 9/11 memorial located at Farmingdale State College. More about what we do can be found on our website at http://www.limetrolax.org.
