LIMLF Wheelchair Team are in need of Chair Sponsors!!

Long Island Metro Lacrosse Community!

The athletes that comprise our own “Hammerheads” wheelchair lacrosse team need your help!

The Long Island Metro Lacrosse Foundation (LIMLF) is a not-for-profit organization comprised of all volunteer members. We work throughout Long Island and the New York Metro area to improve and promote the sport of Lacrosse.

Ways you can you help our wheelchair lacrosse team?

  • We are looking for individuals, groups or organizations to sponsor a wheelchair for our team.
  • Each sponsored wheelchair will include signage on the chair itself, along with recognition on our website and any information emails or social media posts.
  • Promote our Hammerheads program on your social media
  • The cost to sponsor a wheelchair and other important is available upon request. Please use the contact info below for any questions.

What are other donations to the Foundation used for?

We help improve, promote, and grow the sport of lacrosse. Some of our accomplishments include but are not limited to equipment and monetary donations to underprivileged youth programs through our Outreach program, provide awards and recognition for athletes in your local community, scholarships for  high school boys’ and girls’ players, and maintenance of the 9/11 memorial we sponsor, which is located at Farmingdale State College. We also sponsor wheelchair and adaptive lacrosse groups. More detail about what we do can be found on our website at
